jebo tanks and protein skimmers

i'm buying a jebo R3100 tank which is about 64 gallons in capacity.
i have been told by my LFS that i cannot add a protien skimmer to it, the lid is in the way.
does anyone of a way to attach a skimmer to a jebo tank, weather it be extearnally, internally or if i have to modify the tank lid.
i know i could by a traditional tank by i really like the look of the jebo tanks and the fact that the filter and lights are compactly situatated under the lid.
if i can find a way to add a protien skimmer i will not be able to purchase one.
all suggestion will be appreciated.
cheers

If the lid has a plastic guard that you can cut through then you may be able to attach a skimmer, but if it's solid glass then you may be out of luck. Sry, I'm not too familiar with JEBO tanks. I had to cut a notch in my 72gal lid to run the wires through for my pump.
One thing I've learned is in this hobby, anything is possible if your willing to spend enough time and money.

Is that tank similar to the eclipse system? If it is, you could search the threads for that, and maybe get some answers. Also make sure before you buy it, since it has stuff built in, it has enough light to maintain the type of inhabitants you want, such as corals, anemones, etc....
