Generally in the evening since that is when I generally feed my tank, but it will open up pretty much anytime I put food in the tank.

And yes, I leave the cover like that over night, but I would say you would want a minimum of 30-45 minutes.

Probably not enough. I try to directly feed it (with cover and all) twice a week. It opens on other days when I feed the fish so I hope it gets some food those days too.

Since I am still waiting for two of my final grades to be posted I don't have much to do so I figured I'd take some pictures...

I finally purchased something new! The first two pictures are of the new zoo frag. They look like my older zoo frag in the 3rd picture but enough different that I decided to buy them. I still haven't decided where to place them so I have them in my soap dish frag holder.

*edit* ok I added a picture of my lime green zoos that have gone from covering the entire rock to what you see, I am hoping by moving it to my frag holder it will recover.
