I saw this beautiful jeleweld moray ( looked like a dragon moray) i was wondering if he would be a good fish for my tank. How big do they get?

Depends on what species you're talking about. There are 3 different types of eels that are called by that name.
Jeweled Moray
Brazilian Dragon Moray
Mexican Dragon Moray
Each will get to be different sizes.

CARTMAN : Why don't you up grade before you buy more fish? I really don't want to see you get flamed again.

up grade!? I JUST UPGRADED! LOL. I dont have time to upgrade again, well actully my fish are going into a bigger tank, maybe my friends tank, in about 2 years. Hmm AW2, i will have to find a picture of the eel i saw at the LFS, it looked like a jeweled but then it said mexican dragon moray for its name at the lfs

Originates off the Eastern Pacific coast, from the Gulf of Cali to Central America.
Will grow to 2' in length and *Illegal Site Reference* says minimum tank size as 50gal...however, we all know they're not very good about tank sizes.
I'd say no smaller than a 75, with plenty of rock work.
Krill, squid, shrimp and other meaty foods.

yeah, my lfs is really retarded. They had a stingray in a 15gal tank (it looked like a 15gal) and it was trying to get out. I felt so bad for that ray.

I had that eel for almost 8 years. Best fish ever... could live through anything.

Cartman, don't be discouraged... you have what? a goldentail moray and niger trigger in a 125 I think. I don't know about your filtration, but don't let one dead lionfish discourage you. Besides, as long as your top is covered, it is very tough to kill a moray.

Yeah, I'm sure a lot of us have lost fish before. I know I have.

Yeah, Cartman, PLEASE dont get discouraged. We have ALL killed fish before. In my old tank I killed a copperband butterfly. We all kill at LEAST one fish, a lot of us more. This hobby takes practice to be good, and sometimes killing fish is part of it. But, u always learn from ur mistakes. Dont be discouraged...as long as your water is okay, I'd say take a ride over to your LFS! Or...this site!
