I watched this movie today and i must say it very good! It is a 60s movie (not sure) but it is about a man who goes into a battle of WWII, And on this war he was fighting in, it was his last day in the war. But he gets cought next to a bomb and it blows of all his arms and legs. He cant hear, see, smell, talk, move, or communicate. Its very good! I recomend this to anyone who is into drama or war.
I got this movie from the song "one" by Metallica. In there music video they use clips from this movie in there music video. Because thats what the song is about.
Here is the music video in case you wondering.

They were an awesome band until they sold out. Now I clasify them as pop rock as they only make music that will sell well. I am sure the age has something to do with it too, but nothing beats kill em all or ride the lighting.

I liked them up to and including the Justice album. Kill 'em All was my favorite album, but 2 songs got added the original, I think when they changed record labels.

I'm still a big fan except for the St. Anger album and the Death Magnetic album is pretty good and reminds me of their older music.

i think they just tried too hard on the last couple.way too many riff changes and no catchy ones.i have seen them probably 7 or 8 times when i was younger.good times.still in my truck i have a 6 disk changer and 4 of them are metallica.

I can agree with you on those comments deej. The last album I really liked was S&M but of course that was just redoing older music except for No Leaf Clover. I have a lot of music on my ipod and if you did all songs in shuffle mode, Metallica will surely come up often.

Not sure how they "sold out", they were far more popular when they were younger...In the early 90's, they were one of the 3 most popular bands in the world....Since they went "poppy" they are nowhere near as popular. I think they just wanted to do something different.
For whom the Bell Tolls still one of my all-time favorites.

Garage Days is also one of my favorite albums even though they are cover songs. I see them as Metallica songs since they were the first ones I heard sing them. I really like Am I Evil? That song pumps me up on my jogs.

But a major prick so I hear. I don't give a chit since I don't listen to music based on personality because if I did that, I would be listening to a lot of silence. They did a good job with Whiskey in a Jar (which has been covered a lot more by bands than I originally thought) and turn the page was good too.

The sellout started when they made the video for "one". After that, they just wanted to make more money. To do this, they had to tone down their music and make it more radio friendly. You can see it will all the metal bands that became "popular" and got airplay on the same stations that also play hanna montana. There is a distinct difference in music between "and justice for all" and "black." If you cant hear the difference, then listen harder.
i agree that Lars is a major prick. and yea, in his younger days he could bang the skins pretty darn well. However, I just cannot resist neil pert or john bonham. Take out your old 45 or 78 if you have one of Zepplin's Moby Dick. That is a drum solo that just cannot be compared to much. In a gada davida has a great drum solo too, but what else did that drummer ever do?
As far as 1 armed drummers, Rick Allen is the king! I even liked him before the accident.

omg if i hear one beat of zepplin i change the station .the dude wears a diaper and a ball vice to sing.can you name one song he dont use the word "baby " in?not ...
other favorites of mine megadeath genius guitar riffs.especially how dave mustaine can put two lead guitars together.slayer is another band with some great music.
i have never gotten the "rush" thing?cant stand them.
