Jumping Mushrooms?

OK I bought some new mushrooms about two weeks ago. The mushroom have never really open to the size they were in the LFS. For the past week I have been finding them all over the bottom of the tank they seem to be jumping and bailing from the rock. The ones at the bottom aren't opening any better than the ones up higher. All other corals soft and hard and two other type of mushroom are doing great. Anyone seen this if so what's happening I'm at a lost?

Well, i had the same problem with my 'shrooms. They spreaded all over my tank. Jumped of the rock they were attached to. I found out that strong direct laminar current did that for sure.
Differnt mushrooms has different light reqirements. Some are from more dimly lit areas, some like more lights. If you could post me a pic of your mushrooms i would check in my book "Aquarium corals" there are a lot of info on different types of them.

Sorry did finish my sentence with previous post.
What has me confused is that they were fine at the LFS under more lights than mine. I placed them high near the top of mine tank tey seemed kind of shriveled then started to drop. The ones that are on the sand aren't any better than the ones on top. Also less current there. There not dying their just letting go. But as I said I will post a PIc when I get home maybe you canb identify?
