It is funny to me that most people wont drink tap water from their faucets (buy bottled or have a filter) but then they want to use it in their tanks where their fish and corals will live permanently due to the thought that the dechlorinator will make their water pure like magic. :thinking: Just a thought

I still know plenty of people that drink tap water. I dont think people believe that the dechlorinator is a magical thing and that it makes the their water pure, but rather removes those substances that we know harm our tanks. (chlorine, chloramines, metals, nitrites and amonia)
I dunno, other than some algae problems, I've not read a lot of complaints against tap water at all. Most problems I've read about have to do with algae of one sort or another. But I've even read about algae problems when people use RO water, so go figure....
