I liked that one too...The problem I had with that one, was that I needed to make room for the wave2k at the right side of the tank, and the front rocks came almost all of the way to the glass -- I couldn't get my mag float through (thanks Spanko!!). I bought some epoxy but am afraid to use it, because I keep changing it around

Thanks for all the feedback - I really appreciate it....it has come along way since the first pic.

it sure has :)
i wouldnt use epoxy, you'll never be able to change it, and you'll want to again and again and again and again. I just dont like how the rock is on the glass. I think it will be too hard to get cleaners behind it

^^^If it is leaning on the glass, there is a concern about cleaning. But I think more importantly the additional pressure of rock leaning on the glass "could" in time be enough that it may cause a leak at the seams. Be very careful with this.

There is that one piece on the left leaning againt the glass - it is not very heavy...but I'll move it and see where else I can put it....
Thanks for the excellent feedback!

looks good, keep in mind you are doing this for you. make sure you like what you do. but it is always nice to have advice about a setup you will want once you get fish in there. But you are spending serious $, make sure you enjoy what you are looking at

im a new salt hobbyist name, is daniel. hello. when i first got my lr i did alot of research on it. i have been told by several hobbyist that most of the living bacteria etc, are on the inside of the rock, and when recieving your lr you should scrub it vigerously and rinse in water saved from a water change, or ro water not tap water. then after scubing really hard, pieces may break off, that you should rinse well and then use small toothbrush to get in hard areas, rinse agian then use screw driver or something to remove unwanted shells or old growth if will not come off with a scrub, rinse agian and place in q/t for 2wks. ihave have done this 3 times and my lr has cured pretty quickly because of less die off. like i said i am new at this hobby and have heard many differant ways of doing this-shoot you are probibly already past this stage!! what does everyone think, am i doing it all wrong? your tanks coming along nicely though
