Just an intro

Hey guys, Im new here and I just set up my marine aquarium today. I have a 10 gallon with 6 pounds of live rock. To start off I got 2 clown fish, but im looking to get some more in the future and possible and enemani(sp). Any way, Im thinking of getting a protien skimmer also, but im not sure it will be neccasary with just 2 fish.

thanks guys, sorry im a noob at this, but by cycle do you mean let the tank run before putting fish in to grow bateria?

Do you have cured or uncured LR? Did you add anything to the tank to make it cycle? .......... Flake food or frozen cocktail shrimp? Did you test for ammonia and nitrites to see if the tank truely did cycle? The more info you give us, the easier it is for us to help you out. :D

What does LR mean? It was my uncles tank before, so he added stuff to the water for me when I brought it to my house. Im giving them frozen shrimp. I tested for both ammonia and nitrites and both were perfect. Right now the fish seem to be staying away from each other. One of them is on the left side near the back of the tank and the other is on the right side staying near the heater. The fish arent really staying together that much. Is all of this normal.
