I am in need of a more display space in my tank so I went out and bought a few pieces of flat rock. I have never moved any of the rocks in my tank but in order to make a nice display I will have to adjust everything. I am kind of scared of hurting some of the corals and creatures in the tank. Do you have any suggestions on what I should do in order to rework my tank????
I here of people taring their tank down and bringing into the shows and putting back together like nothing. As I look at my tank the task seems real hard I don't know how some people do it so effortlessly:notsure:

Either work on one side of the tank and then pile the rock up on the other with the corals on top if you have the room.
or
Put as much as you can into buckets etc, with the corals on top and then load it all back in after your base is set.

I've been amazed at how hearty these things can be. Of course be as careful as you can and the suggestion from JB sounds like a good one.
I took out most of my LR and scrubbed it with a toothbrush to combat some serious hair algae about two months or so ago. I scrubbed this stuff, stuck it back in my tank and now I've got some polyps growing back off a rock I didn't even know were still alive! Absolutely resilient stuff! Amazing things God has put on this planet. Absolutely amazing.
