I put 2 tank raised orange/white ocellaris percs in two days ago and want to add two more black/white tank raised ocellaris percs.
Since the establishment time for the first two has been practically non-existent, do you think it will be a problem?
I have a 55 gallon tank, 45 lbs of LR. I will rearrange or add some LR to force the 2 currently in the find a new home if that’s all it will take.
I figured since neither group of fish has ever been exposed to an anemone, and were raised with other clowns that there would be little trouble with territorial aggression.
What are your thoughts?

I'd wait until the two already there get comfortable.
Really? You don't think that once comfortable they will become aggressive?
I understand that most of the time it's a crapshoot, but being of the same species, all being tank raised, and all being introduced to a new environment over a period of a few days, my luck might be greater...
Anyone else?

What would happen if there were 1 o/w and 1 b/w? Would the two group up?

Despite hot883's suggestions, I've ordered two aquacultured b/w ocellaris clowns.

I am not planning on putting much more in the tank for quite some time and want to get these guys in as soon as possible with each other before any territorial aggression starts.
As mentioned before, considering that they are all 4 tank raised, of the same species, and introduced at approximately the same time, I hope to avoid some problems.
:happyfish Here's to good luck with the clowns... or God forbid an expensive lesson!

You will have problems. Only one pair of Ocellaris clowns to a tank despite what you think and regardless they are of same species. A single pair will stake out a territory of about 2 square feet in a tank. Therefore, a 55 gallon tank isn't big enough to accomodate multiple pairs. Don't add another pair !

You would learn the lesson to listen. Hot883 was very correct that a 55 is too small for 2 pair, and now they will all fight not allowing either pair any rest. You can't have two mating pairs of competely DIFFERENT species in the same 55. It is too small and mating pairs don't want ANYONE near then, let alone another pair of the same breed. I am willing to bet that the dominant female (yes, one will be VERY dominant, one of the orange ones) will harass untill someone dies (my guess is one of theB&W) I don't mean this as rude, but you were told not to buy the second pair.
