Just wondering if anyone has had this experience.
I had 3 shrimps,a fire shrimp and 2 cleaners.
I found them dead like 2 months ago and I just found the cause,my sixline wrasse killed them,it ate the shrimps eyes and I was kind of wondering why my shrimps didn't have any eyes when they died.Today I was talking to a friend and he told me that sixline wrasses sometimes do that.So I wouldn't buy one if I were you,unless you already have one and you've been lucky.
The good thing is that I got rid of that psycho.

I had a sixline wrasse for 6 months until he jumped ship. He was a pretty model citizen. Wouldn't pick a fight but would stand up for himself when being intimidated. Never went after any shrimp or the like. Just with all fish, there are always exceptions to the norms, sounds like yours was an exception. If you were to get another sixline the odds of another doing the same thing are pretty slim.

No sixline wrasse for me,I don't wanna take any riscs(spelling???)
I wasn't even going to buy any shrimp untill I set up my other tank since I didn't know why they were dying.But woo hoo,im buying shrimps again!

I love fire shrimps,they're so bada$$,it's cool how they clean your hand.

Thats funny you bring up the shrimp death
I wanted to add a shrimp to my tank cause they look reall cool and make a great addition to a clean up crew. well the first shrimp i got was a coral banded. The next day i found him dead. Went back to the store and got a bigger one. Next day found him dead ( in pieces) i couldent figure out what was happening. TILL YESTERDAY i went to the store and went with a cheap shrimp ( a camel shrimp or something) brought him home did the acclimation like the others and out of nowhere one of the bigger hermits tore him up. and ate his remains. well the mystery is over and i am going to have to put that hermit in the other tank.
