Very nice tank, looking good. Are you going to be adding more rock to the tank are you going to leave it the way it is?? Love the Coral Beauty also... Keep up the good work..

Yeah that is a cool piece. There is another piece like it at our LFS that I am going to get next time I am there. Slowly but surely we will get the roxck built up. We are not going to be adding much more than rock for awhile.
And 1GuyDude The tank is a 150 gallon tank. It is just tall. 24x48x30.

Have you thought about using any Dry Rock, I got my 85# for about 130.00 Delivered. If you want PM me and I can tell you where I got it from and you can check it out and decide what you want to do. I did it that way because of the cost factor of Live rock and if you look thru my thread you can see the pieces that I got. Just a suggestion.

Oh yeah we are going to go with about 70% base rock 30% live rock. the base rock we have in there now is coloring up nicely. We are probably going to add about 125# more rock to the tank, It is going to be an awesome set up when it is aquascaped. Can't wait! It is nice finally having activity in the tank after so long. Everywhere you look there is something going on. Snails popping up out of the sand, hermits fighting , the fish, shrimp, starfish and urchins. Lots of life! We love it! It is definitely the center piece of out living room.

Yes, it is very exciting, I can not wait til mine is cycled because I cant wait to sit and watch the tank for hours. Even now just being set up, I sit and watch it and imagine, the fish in there swimming. Where i am going to put corals, It is going to awesome to watch..

We are always staring into our tank looking for something new or just watching the fish interact. The coral beauty has a cool personality, he will get right in the peppermint shrimps face and fan all his fins. Not sure what he is doing but it is cool to watch. And the Urchins and Nudi are cool too. The Nudi almost got sucked into a powerhead today! I turned the PH off and he got himself loose and floated around in the current for a few minutes. Cool to watch. Always something going on in there.

Its so amazing and so beautiful, there is so much to watch and see in a tank. I used to go to the LFS that was here years ago and watch their saltwater tanks all the time just to see what new I could find and see in them. Soon enough I will be watching life in my own tank..

After reading your set up thread, I don't know how any human can have that kind of patience! But you are almost there! Hang in there, you will have fish in no time!
