Just got a great deal, what you think

Found it in the local paper, the add said 200 gallon acrylic aquarium 300.00 :thinking: I went and looked at it and it is not the junk I thought it would be, the diminsions are kinda funny but its 72 x 18 x 39 and its 3/4 thick and is reef ready. It also comes with a decent looking stand that runs along the bottom and then up one side of the tank. :cheer: He is selling it to make room for the 500 gallon tank he just bought, and he has a 20 x 24 foot room full of 100 gallon and larger salt water tanks.

I dont have any pics yet but comments on the deal are welcome.

It was dark s it was hard to tell, looked pretty good. Had alot of coriline growth but the tank is empty so of course that is dead now. Is there a way to remove it from acrylic with out scratching it?

I used a clean scrap of filter midia. Took quite a while to get it clean though.

They make scrapers specialy desighned for acrylic. It is basically a plastic razor blade. Your lfs should have it, might be worth a shot

Yes it is reef ready. I will try to find one of those scrapers at the LFS.
