and it is darn cool. I always though that gobies were boring but this guy is OK. He hid for two days, but now he is making my tank look like Pismo Beach. I wanted something that would turn the sand over, and boy he does.

Mine is my oldest fish, close to 3 years and it doesnt do squat except sit in a cave under some rock and make threatening gestures towards my bi-color angel. He is a cute fish and I will keep it for longevities sake but totally useless to me for any kind of utility. Glad yours actually works. heheh

Mine is full of prsonality and always tending to the burrow he shares with his buddy the pistol shrimp...and he is a certified camera hog...approach the display with camera in hand and he'll srtike a pose.

I love mine. He has his favorite cave, but he is often out and about and waiting for that dinner bell. Everytime he spots me, though timid, he is right there just waiting for that food.
Great picture wizard!

Awesome fish NM! I wish my diamond goby was that photogenic!! He is not shy in the least, but not very camera friendly either. Maybe some day he will be. I love your fish though.

he's DEAD. I really liked this fish. I just learned that gobies like to jump out of tanks. WARNING - if you have a goby, SEAL the tank GOOD. Found him on the hardwoods this AM. Interestingly, I heard a lot of water schlossing last night.

wow, I am sorry to hear that. My first diamond goby did that as well (although he jumped into my overflow box, into my standpide, and traveled all the way to my polyfiber pad where he died
..) I have since learned better and my current diamond goby has been quite happy for two months now.
