just got lionfish

hey guys. I finnally got my peakock lionfish.. it looks amazing! he is a bit shy right now but that is understandable. when food comes around though watch out this guy will come out in a hurry!
anyhow, i just wanted to share my new experience with yu all and tell anyone who is thinking of buying a lionfish... go for it u will not regret it!

One thing to be aware of with lions is feeding. You want to be carefull about overfeeding, as undigested food will rot in their stomach's and cause problems. I lost 1 lionfish that I had had for almost a year, and I beleive that it was do to overfeeding. Do a search in the aggressive forum, and maybe the disease and treatment, and you'll find a couple of good posts concerning feeding lions. Also try to vary the diet with frozen shrimp, fish, krill, and silversides.
