just got my first clam!

got my first clam today. it a 4 inch derasa(sp?) here is a pic of it a few hours after adding him to my tank.

yup my sixline came and checked it out... and seemed almost confused cause i moved some rocks around to put the clam where i wanted it. nope not off the internet,, got it at my lfs. its under 2 175watt xm 10k halides and 4 65 watt power compacts(2 10k and 2 actinic 03s).

Very nice addition skirby...I currently have a 5" derasa...6" squamosa...and a little 3" maxima....sure adds a nice diversity to the reef huh...:yes:

yeah, i really like it so far,, would have to be my new favorite,, i even noticed that if i look from a higher angle, and a lower angle, its changes colors,, more golen from the top, more blue from the bottom. very cool. seems alot happier today, than the first day, now that hes adjusted more
