Yea unfortunatly until now unless I went satellite, our local cable company had no competition so every 6 months we were seeing our monthly bill being raised for one reason or another. When FiOs came to town although the technology has been around for years it was a competitor and our local cable companies got affected by it. As far as signal and clarity goes IMO I do notice a difference even though the fiber optics stops before it enters my house and copper takes over. Everything just looks better sharper, and that was before I got the new TV. But I am glad there is another competitor in here now, my monthly bill went down $60 a month, with a bundled package. doesnt sound like a lot but thats $720 a year in savings. More fish tank supplies...
