Thanks so much! With the seahorse tank I wanted it to be very flowy and colorful and kinda Disneyish but still realistic..lol
As this is the third salt tank I have,I really had fun designing the look of each one.
She is doing great today.Eating well and swimming from plant to plant hunting for the frozen cyclops as they flow around the tank.
Before feeding she swims to the front of the tank and watches me wondering when the food will arrive.
Yesterday I moved the outflow tube of the powerhead and before i moved it, she liked letting the current push her and she would swim up and brace herself and do it again.
Now that the flow is a few degrees off, she swims to where the flow was and still braces herself waiting for the current...lol
She was then looking for the current. She finally found it and kept swimming up and letting the current whisk her.
Such funny intelligent animals!

Here is some more pics of the seahorse.

^^This third picture she was photoshopped in.She originally was in the pic but as soon as I took the photo, she went chasing a cyclops..lol
I go into my room and the mini fridge/freezer I keep the cyclops in was slightly open..AGH!So the cyclops were not frozen solid but like slushies. So I quickley moved them into our main freezer.Hopefull they will still be ok and not rot or anything.

Just a little update.Seahorse is doing well. She is eating frozen and live pods very well. She has turned a more brownish color and seems to have grown. It's funny now when I am watching her in the tank...she swims up and watches me...lol

Wondering if I have food.
I noticed little white dots on her and started wondering if it was ick but after observing her more it seemed to either be sand that got stuck to her or her natural bumps on her body.
One thing that shocks me is how much and how big seahorse poop is...LOL
It's like the size of their head.

Please post pics of these white spots! I do not want to alarm you or make you panic, however, my first horse, Valiant, died of a host parasites that began with tiny white spots.
Do the spots look anything like this? Notice the small white spots on the tips of the back scales, and the cornet.

And have you noticed your horse rubbing herself against LR
as though itchy? Or twitching?

No she does not twitch or ich herself against LR or decorations.
I will try to get pics (not sure if anything will show) but it didn't look like host parasites to me as I have seen in the past with my fish.
It may have just been her coloring that I saw before but did not really notice.
I will examine her more tomorrow.
As I have learned in this hobby, enjoy fish for as long or as little as you have them. But I think she is fine.
How long did you have Valiant Rykna?

I'm so glad to hear that!!!!
Valiant was my first seahorse. He was a male H. Kuda. I purchased Valiant when he was approximately 3 months old. I had him for 5 months. I posted this in another thread:

Here are some more pics.I examined her and do not think it is a parasite but it is hard to tell. You can't really see anything in the pics but I hope it is just her markings.I will be getting an African blue stripe pipefish next week. I tried to order another Kellogi horse but I got an email from the store saying their supplier doesn't have any available at this time.So I am sure the pipefish and her can be friends for now..lol

Seahorse seems to be doing fine. One thinkg that I am not if is normal but when she swims her tail makes a slight sideways S.Not sure if that makes sense...lol
I am hoping to get a yellow kuda horse soon.YAY
