Just got my Lion today

I just got my lion today and he is absolutly beautiful!!!! but he seems to be sitting on the bottom behind a rock alot is he just scared and trying to hide or is he ill? I looks perfect but i just wanna double check. his name is Rocky (after Rock Balboa the boxer) he is the coolest fish ever!!!!!! Hes just sittin behind that rock and worring me

I wouldn't worry. Some lions just sit on the bottom, especially when first introduced. Check your water parameters and make sure the lion is breathing at a regular rate. try throwing in a few ghost shrimp to make sure its' appetite is ok.

Lions are fairly inactive as a lot. It's not uncommon for them to laze around on the rocks, bottom, or even hang in a corner. They are interesting when it's feeding time, and will swim around when hungry. They're also dusk to dawn predators so they are more active after lights out in many cases.

I worry about now. My Dwarf Lion took a few days to get accustomed to his new home. After awhile your Lion will learn the lighting and feeding schedule and come right out when he is hungry
My Lions name is Chuck Rubble. He's named after Chuck Liddell (UFC Light Heavyweight Champ) and Barney Rubble :hilarious

Yeah, that sounds like perfectly normal behavior for a lion. Now you get the fun job of training them to eat frozen food. Remember, no freshwater fish! Good luck with your new lion!
