just my opinion on lighting for some anemones.

IMO i think some anemones will do ok under low light conditions. i think if u feed them more often they should be fine cause i have the healthiest condy i have ever seen in my life and its under 2X25 watt PC's. i think thats partly from having excellent water condition too. most of the condy's i have seen are white and are not sticky, mine sticks like glue. i feed it phytoplex enriched squid and krill, but mostly squid, about 3 times a week. it is super brown and its getting a kinda greenish neon tint to its tentacles. and my gold strip maroons love it! when i posted the anemones pic for an ID some people mistook it as a rose bubble tip anemone without the bubbles. lol
so i think that condys dont need metal halides or T5's to survive and be healthy. they will be ok under PC's too.
ive had this anemone for over 6 months now.

I agree in some cases, I dunno if it will always work
I've got a BTA under dual 36 watt 18 inch PC's in my 24. Its doubled in size since I got it over a month ago. I feed it a frozen krill once a week.

i would feed it more

and i said some anemones not all, but mostly for condys.
people told me that it would get bleached in 2 months but it didnt.

im guessing cause i feed it too much.

Yeah, I had always heard that BTA's can tolerate the lowest lighting, don't know much about Condy's honestly. I'll try feeding it every 5 days I suppose. Its not like its rejected food yet.

Condi's and BTA's are a couple of the less light demanding anemones. Feeding them more does help offset the lack of intense lighting. Six months is a hurdle but not success in anemone keeping. I hope you continue to experience good luck in your anemone keeping experience.
