I set it in, and its gettin big, and then shrink, over and over and over. Looks like its going to fall off the rock that its on. And the clown is hiding, and doesnt seem to know the Anemone is there...
Is it just a matter of time. My water is fine. PH slightly low.
help, tell me what i need to know.

I'm no expert but I think it is filling up with water and deflating - dunno why sorry.
If it isn't happy where it is it will move to another place in the tank.
What kind of anenomie and what kind of clown?

Anemone's only have one opening, so they release waste through the same opening that they take in food with. When they do this, they expel water, thus deflating. Then they take in more water, and re-inflate.
Is it attached? If so, it won't fall. It will move around until it finds an adequate spot.
You say your pH is slightly low. What is the reading? Also, Trates?
What is your lighting like? Make sure you have plenty of current and feed meaty foods as well, regularly.
Unfortunately, not all clowns will take to anemone's. Yours may not.

I would say that with the size of your tank you might have too much in there? Plus a lot of the people on this site think that anenomes are pretty difficult to keep, and with only 11 gals - maybe? I've hesitated - I only have 10 gals... anyone else think this?
If you have 2 damsels and a maroon clown in this tank I'd say you have too much...
not a reason for a anenome shrinking - just a thought...
