so far, everyone who has seen it and posted has liked it. Too cool. Probably be a year and a half to two years before they come out with it on DVD. They always seem to do that with the good movies.

Dittos on Finding Nemo!!
Loved Dory's whale talk and I thought the cleaner shrimp was so funny.. They did a great Job! I actually work in a dental office and I set up a SWF tank in my operatory and I was rolling at the bets the fish were taking on the dental procedures too!!! So, You have to relate to "CATCH" all the little inuendoes.......Otherwise you just enjoy all the great animation but on a different scale...
Oh ya,,, I could have strangled the dentist for getting his niece "the fish killer" Nemo

I just saw this movie today and thought that it was a really great flick. I laughed for sure.
I have to admit though, I feel guilty as hell for buying anything taken from the ocean:( Tank Raised it is!

saw it on Sat. Wasn't as good as I thought it would be but I still liked it. Especially when Nemo first said he was from the ocean and the all said he "hasnt been decontaminated" and the cleaner shrimp came out....lol. Definately different when you have some knowledge of the hobby.

Definitely a must see for a member of this board. Wonderful animation. Very funny, and it's great. Although, technically wouldn't Marlin turn into female and Nemo be the male? :D
It's not the best Pixar movie, I think Monster's Inc is somewhat better. But still, go see it! You won't regret it.

A dory is a boat - more precisely, a small fishing boat. Where I am from in NY, they also use them for ocean rescue...the Dory Rescue Squad.
OK. I am going to offer a bit of a different take on the movie. I saw it on Friday, opening night. While I do agree it was a very good movie, I found it a bit disturbing too.
What is it about Disney flicks that they have to shock you right from the start and get you all depressed? The beginning of the movie bothered me. I won't go into details, for those that haven't seen it. Then, I can't say I was all too thrilled with the deformed fin, and the short term memory issues (see it to find out who has what).
There were a lot of funny parts, but a lot of disturbing parts as well. I found myself actually feeling guilty for having an aquarium. That bugged me.
Just my opinion, and please don't get me wrong. As a whole, I liked it. So, as Jacques (I suppose my favorite too) says..."I will try to resist" any more negativity about it....heh heh...

We saw it sunday after noon. I agree that the begining was kid of hars for little eyes. But over all I thought it was good. Sort of drug on in certian spots. My favorite part was when the 2 pelicans were sitting on the water and the bubble came up. Very NICE. lol

And now I've taken the plunge...(hanging my head in shame)...I just went to McDonald's and bought my Marlin and Dory toys...actually, they're pretty cool. Marlin laughs, and Dory does the whale talk.
