hey zano.... well when i bought it at the LFS it was $120 then but its a cool color with a dark brown mantle with gold spots and blue spots inside that ....
its using up its fair share of calcium though i have my reactor turned up pretty high lol to keep him happy and growing....
hey fanker... as far as lights go i use 2-250W Phoenix 14K bulbs on PFO pendants and PFO HQI ballast... along with another 130W of actinic PC's
thats all i have over my 180 but it keeps the corals happy and growing especially the clam...
i would add a third MH setup but my electric bill out here is already rediculous ... it was $496 this month alone!!!!

u will really like the phoenix bulbs zano....
fanker i really like the phoenix 14k's i use to run Helios 20K's then switched to these the color is better and brighter and a better PAR for coral growth brings out the colors for sure in the tank!
yeah tell me about it i almost crapped my pants when i opened the bill.....
so cal edison rips everyone off out here in southern cali!!!!
i also have a 2000g koi pond so that take some electricity too

ya i like the black look, i like it so much that im taking out my old acrylic scratched 55g and putting in a new AGA 55g RR and im using black sand. i think it will give the corals a nice pop.
but ya we live like 2 miles away, same age within a day, go 2 school together too.
