Just shy of 3 months old........

Another week or so will be three months. Did some remodleing yesterday and thought Id take some pics....any suggestions (except more rock & sand....that I know)

Your tank looks great! I have a little 29 gal hex and I have live rock and sand , But mine is not set up on that white , is it plastic?, grate that you have. Did I make a mistake and miss buying something important like that??

I would think the white grate wouldn't be good. I would think that it would deitrus and what not. JMO.

I have the rock sitting on the egg crate so that sand underneath can be disturbed and wastes put back into the column. I dont like the dead spots under rocks. It will be covered in sand soon, and you wont see it.
Scary....this is personal preference, not mandatory.
