Hello,
Just getting started on a new aquarium and just put some crushed coral at the bottom of my tank. It is cloudy right now. Does it suppose to be like this? Thanks alot!

Yep, will most likely be cloudy for a couple days depending on your filtration system. Give some stats on your tank, and keep everyone posted :)

Welcome to the board!
Yes, it will be cloudy at first but will clear up. Now take it all out and put in live sand! :D :eek:

Hey,
I love this site and you guys help me out alot! Is live sand better than crushed coral? I have a small tank, but figured if I can get a small one to work, then I would get a 55 gallon. Thanks alot!

CC will work, I have two tanks with it now and have used it for a long time, but ls is better. The cloudness will go away in a couple of days, just rince out any filter spounges you have after the cloudness goes. Good Luck
