JUst switched from CC to LS

I just finished swithcing from CC to LS. I cannot thank enought the person who had posted that when they had done this, they used a 3-4" diameter PVC pipe to put the sand in. Just pour the sand down the tube and when the tube is full, gently lift about 2-3" up and sprerad the sand aroung, very little cloudiness. Thanks again, whomever you are!
PS: I left all of my fish in when I did this and they seem just fine!

It looks a thousand times better and more natural than cc. My grammas seem to be able to get in their favorite hiding spaces a bnit easier now that the can move the sand around better than the cc. Well worth the switch.

for those of you who are going to or are considering switching from CC to LS, one of the easiest ways I found to get the CC out of the tank without losing alot of water is to use a very large cat litter scoop. But please make sure it is a NEW scoop! feline urine has tremedous amonuts of ammonia! So please don't use the old one!
