For all of the relatively new SW owners on this BB (myself defintiely included), I have one thing that is gospel...
The Lawnmower Blenny is the best fish on the planet! I acclimated mine over a 30-40 minute period, put him in, and he has been eating like it the last supper!
Anyone looking for less algae on your rocks? At this pace, I'll be lucky if I have any rocks left! :D

The blenny is one of my favorite fish to watch at the lfs when I go in to daydream about my future set-up. I just think they have loads of personality and the job they do for the substrate is perfect for what I want. I'd like a dragonette as well and they seem to be fine together at the lfs, but I've read that you can't trust their behavior together at the stores.
Does anyone have a blenny and dragonette together in their tank? I'd love to know about their compatibility.
Thanks, Shelly <img src="graemlins//yeahright.gif" border="0" alt="[yeahright]" />

the lawnmower benny is an awesome fish to have. It was one of my first purchases. I also would like to say I hate the Yankees

I've been thinking on getting one of those bleenies, but I cannot make up my mind. Which one is better, scooter bleenie or lawnnmower bleenie?

and which would be ok in cc and would they bother any fish or would a dwarf lion or snowflake bother him

Well I'll worry about the snowflake. My friend's snowflake ate her g.s. goby. Considering the size of bleenies, they can be eaten by snowflakes.

NYY wanted to ask you a quick question...I am from Salisbury, and am looking for another lfs. Where do you buy fish in Charlotte? I shop at a store in Kannapolis right now that is great, but I want to find another good store in the Charlotte area. Any help you could give me would be great! I am a beginner too, getting ready to make some purchases for a clean-up crew and my lfs doesn't carry a good selection at times. Thanks!

To those of you asking about the blenny, I don't know much except that he eats algae from the rocks like a starving dog! He is not a sand/cc sifter.
As for Frost Mug, I shop at a few places for different things (one for parts, one for fish, one for ideas). If you are looking for a clean-up crew, depending on the size of your tank, I would try something from SWF.com...they have some very nice combo deals. If you want testamonials, just put out a post and see what people here have to say. If you want info about Charlotte places, email me at nyyfan241@yahoo.com.

Blennies and Emerald Crab are great to watch. The Emerald crab eat none stop. The bigger of the two if he sees me watching him he will come up the the glass and strut for me.
