Some man comes in to the cupcake shop just now, buys EVERY remaining cupcake in my case, and says he's taking them up to the local children's hospital for the kids and their staff.
Now I have re-evaluate humanity. Thanks a lot, jerk.

I don't know who he is by name...but a prayer goes out for him...no doubt he has or had, a sick child in that hospital. There are a few good folks in the world...pity they are so outnumbered.

be a cynic. He's just playing you, so you feel guilty, and the next time he comes in, you'll hook him up with a deal on a buncha cupcakes for his office...
