Just wondering if this would be ok for a 180 or 210 gallon?

If this would work I would defiantly think about getting this big of a tank and shutting down my 72. It would be drilled. Eventually it would be a reef and don't worry everything would be really really slow cough cough MONEYcough cough so the FASTEST it would go is adding one fish every 2-4 months---unless for part of my list for some reason i would need to add some fish faster or they wont get along(anything that would be a pair/school i would add at the same time)There would be lots of liverock probably about 1.5 lb. per gallon, with plenty of caves and places to hide/get away from light.
So here is the (WISH)fish list:
Flame Angel
----5 lyretail anthias---OR---should i go 4 femals 1 male?----
Blackcap Basslet
Lawnmower Blenny
2 Percula clowns
----Firefish goby purple----OR should i get a pair?----
----Green mandarin dragonet----or could i possibly get a pair? that would be so AWSOME!

[hr]
I would have a refugium under the tank as big as one could fit under there along with a sump.

[hr]
Achilles Tang---1st tang added wait awhile before i get next tang...probably blue hippo...then what?
Blue Hippo Tang
Sailfin Tang(The Brownish one)...or maybe the blackish one---Added at the same time as the yellow----
Yellow Tang----added at the same time as the sailfin----
Blonde Naso Tang
OTHER FISH I LIKE(just want to see if there is any i can put into my tank)
Yellow watchman goby
Blue spotted Jawfish
Clown trigger???
any trigger???
emperor angel
regal angel
threadfin butterfly
black and white clown(pair)
maroon clown
I know I know 7 tangs( I used to have a powder blue and clown tang on the list until some people convinced me that was alot) is alot but i have seen so many tanks with this many or more I was just wondering if this would work?
I know the flame angel is a 50/50 chance of not being reef safe.
I know green Mandarin only eat pods am i crazy of even thinking of putting 2 in a 180-210 gallon with as big of a refugium i can fit underneath it?
PLEASE let me know what you think. THIS IS JUST AN IDEA THAT I WOULD LOVE TO HAPPEN!
Thanks for everything in ADVANCE!

Everything seems right, but I would focus on the tangs because in my opinion thats a lot of tangs in that size of aquarium. Thats JMO though.

depends on filtration but i only have 5 tangs in a 300...they have a SERIOUS bioload..
you might be able to get away witht hat many fish but you would need some serious filtration and a huge skimmer...

So what if I take away 2 tangs so instead of 7
Achilles
Blue hippo
Yellow
Sailfin
Clown Tang
Powder Blue
Blonde naso
I get 5 tangs(trying to keep it at an odd number becuase it is more succesful for the tangs to get along Right?)
Achilles
Blue Hippo
Sailfin
Yellow tang
Blonde naso tang--Male
Would that be better?

I am willing to change So any comments on my fish list would be appreciated!
Deleted the Clown Tang and Powder Blue tang from the above list now does it seem ok
Oh and I was wondering if i still had room to add more fish and how many more like 3-4 inch fish? remember this would be in a 180 or 210 gallon.

I would delete the achilles. If you are going to attempt one you must get it first but multiple tangs in the same aquarium may be enough to stress an already fragile fish even in that size tank. You did delete the right two tangs if you plan on attempting one.
lyretail's dont really like reef type lighting. Dispar are probably a better choice. still has the same harem behavior. same anthia pinks and oranges.
never heard of two mandarins getting along in any size system plus one really doesn't need competition for food. If I were to become the dominant one I probably wouldn't let the other attempt to eat in peace.

be carefull with the yellow tang and the salfin tang since they are the same body type.. i know peopel do keep them together or do keep purple and yellow's together but i beleive most of them introduced them at the same time or some trcik to keep them from fighting.. i agreee witht he above as well scratch the achilles, yes a beutiful tang but not very easy to keep!

I know a place(website) that sells mated pairs
my main question on the mandarins would be would they be competing for food in my 180 or 210 would there be enough pods for 2? I would have a large refugium under the tank as stated higher in my post.

I would kinda like to keep the Achilles and Lyretail anthias but may change my mind why do you say they do not like reef lighting?

Well they wont die or anything but they are a deep water anthia and tend to fair/behave more normally under subdued lighting. I wouldn't say dont get them if thats what you really want. perhaps go with 20K lighting or shorten your light cycle a little to appease them. or set up the rockwork to provide legdes and pass thru's that block some of the high intensity lighting.
Cant blame you for wanting the achilles. I just suggest letting it get comfortable and establish itself before the other tangs go in. If something's going to be chased or uncomfortable might as well be the hardier tangs.
as far as food for the manderins I would just divide the tank in half. A 210 would be like putting each in a 105g tank which I would think is large enough with a fuge.

You're overloaded.
Look at the maximum size of your fish... A couple of large Tangs in a 210. No way would I try 5 or 7. You might check out the Bartlett Anthias. Just got 3 from this site and they are beautiful.
