Just wondering why do you go through all the time and money to maintain your aquariums

I just wanna win the lotto to have my dream tank.
until then I like to look at my box-o-water and watch the things grow and since of accomplishment of look what I have done and sit enjoy my trip to the reef I have never had ;-)

I do it for the tranquility and the beauty of these environments. It's so cool to make your own collection from the ocean and watch everything grow and interact with each other. I grew up in S. florida and have been an ocean baby since I was born. I still go on the boat almost every weekend. I go diving fishing and just cruise around but the ocean is so amazing and I understand I am the odd man out when I am in the ocean. I have thought of moving to other places like N. Carolina, Colorado or California which are all soooo beautiful but at the end of the day I just couldn't stand to be away from the ocean and reefs. I'm fortunate to have the ocean in my back yard and in my house, both are so relaxing!
