How often does everyone have to scrape the front and side glass of their tanks?:::happyfish

Too often IMO ...but, seriously, about every 3rd day. Not sure if thats okay, but thats what we do. For all we know that may be too often and have a problem, but everything we have seems to be fine.

I use a mag float every day. Great for a clear view of the fish. Cleans the glass inside and out which is good since my kids and their friends can't keep their finger marks off.

Magnet cleaned daily...takes very little time and it really helps by preventing any coraline to develope on the front glass.

I was considering getting a Mag-Float, but I have an acrylic tank. I know they make the magnets for acrylic too, but I am very concerned about scratches. Anyone have one for an acrylic? What are your experiences? What is a good price for one?

I used to only have to do it like once a weak or so...than my turbo snails all died because I had a low ph.

Every Other Day or when the glass starts to become covered with algae.

I saw in a magazine that they also sell specific Mag Floats for acrylic tanks besides the ones for glass tanks.
