now i have to ask this ive blown by 1100 dollars on my tank and still want much more now i was wondering just how much some of you have invested in your set ups just curious, and maybe then my wife will understand????????????

$1100, ha, I spent more than that just on Rock. I quit keeping track long ago. The money every month for electricity, water changes, food, ect. makes me wonder if Im crazy. But I love this hobby.

I'm in for $12000.00 so far equipment, upgrades(55 to 90 now 180 gal

Id say about 2k on mine.
55 gal, still not really stocked but the equipt is bought.

Yea im around that.. after 5 years, id say about 3-4 K and the tank is again not stocked right now

I spent about $3000 on my 29 gallon before moving up to a 70 gallon and spending at least another $4000.
