Im really new here, but I have been around saltwater fish for some time. My dad has had these tanks all my life, and now that I moved out, I decided it was time to get my own.
I am currently in the works on a live rock and fish tank, no corals. Just as a guess, I would say the tank has about 40-50 pounds of live rock in it. It is a 70g and has had a Valentini Puffer, Snowflake Eel, a small Damsel and 2 Pajama Cardinals living in it for about 3 months. My ammonia levels are 0 and have never changed, and I felt it was time to buy another fish.
I purchased a small ( 2" ) Emperor Angel and have had him for about a week. (I plan on trading him in once he outgrows the tank, I know the tank isnt big enough for him once he is starts getting larger) But my problem is, he will barely eat anything. I feed the other fish frozen brine shrimp, and he wont eat that. I bought the Emerald Entree cubes, and he wont eat that. He just goes around picking at the rocks, and he appears to be completely healthy. He swims fine and isnt losing any color.
My question is: What would be something else I could get him to see if he would eat? I worry about him not eating, but like I said, he appears to be healthy so far. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
