Kalk or C-Balace.....????????

Hi, I was just wondering what most ppl are using for calcium supplements.....I have been using C-Balance and have recently ran out and I already had some Kalkwasser....so I started using it ....It doesn't seem to keep my calcium up like C-Balace did........what are some of you alls thoughts........

I use Tropic Marine Bio-Calcium I love it and never had any problems with it. Plus it has like 70 major and minor trace elements with it.

I use B-Ionic this stuff is awesome. You don't have to drip it or anything just dose the first solution then the other and your done. I have seen some serious growth of Coralline after I started using it. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

I use kalk with my make up water. Then when I check my water I'll use seachem's reef builder and reef complete to push up any levels that I need to.

HI,
I too use B-Ionic. . this is a great product, espicially for us folks with no sump to drip into. As mentioned it promotes great corline growth by maintaing ( notice maintaining not raising ) the alk and cal while moderating the pH swings. Dose it as early in the morning as you can when the pH is the lowest. I can however see where it might get expensive for folks with larger tanks but for us who have small sumpless tanks this stuff is golden!

Thanks guys...I can't say that I have ever seen
B-Ionic in my LFS but I may have to see about finding it.....I do have a sump so dripping is not a prob its just time consuming for me....i have just been using Kalk in my top off water...since I ran out of C-balance....I do need to get the calcium level up......I hope I can find something that will do the trick!
