I need some help here. I have a 55 gallon reef tank currently with hard and soft corals. I am having trouble understanding this kalkwasser thing. Is this somthing I should add to my tank because I have a reef or will adding kent liquid clacium be enough. If it is a problem with ph buffering can I use somthing like kent tech CB or kent super buffer instead of kalkwasser? Also does anyone use carib sea agrimilk? It is supposed to add calcium as well as other trace minerals plus help with the ph control.
sorry about all the questions
Please help

In a reef tank you need to monitor your calcium and alk. There are several ways. As you said you can use seperate components, usr a two part additive, and using kalk or suplimenting addtives while using kalk. You can try different thing to see what is the most stable for your tank and meets your requirements. All of these methods work fine.
