Keep two mantis shrimp together?

Anyone kept two of these together? I have a bright green one and a pal just got a small brown one in some live rock and gave it to me.

When I first started adding LR I had 3 of them!....put them all in a 2.5G tank as I got them out....within a few days I was down to one....so I wouldn't risk it unless the new one is ment to be food!!

i guess you didn't see the discovery channel special were they showed the mantis shrimp. they are mean to each other in the wild.

is youe 2.5 a plastic or glass aquarium? i hope it was plastic.

yeah it was plastic...they are gone now...I tried to get rid of the one that was living but the guy at the LFS said to just throw it in the intercoastal...so thats what I did! he said htey take the rock from the keys and they are local! so go ahead guys...start yelling!
