Keeping Green Moray Eels, what temperature?

no, green morays and most fish should live between 78 and 84, or so i have been told. what size tank do u have?

i hope your tank is thousands of gallons, and no fish can be kept with one

A green moray for 12 years in a 220? That is outrageous, IMO.
Healthy green morays are huge animals and I can't even imagine one in a tank that "small."
Please do not get one unless you can keep it long term, and yes I agree you need a very very large tank.
DO NOT ASSUME A PUBLIC AQUARIUM WILL TAKE A GREEN MORAY. Most have more than they could possibly need already. There are plenty of eels suitable for "smaller" hobbyists tanks.

not saying i agree with them keeping the eel in a tank that size(it may be bigger but it is 6' long) the shop doesnt sell them to people and hobbyists shouldnt have them imo along with a tess how does a normal hobbyist ever remove it from a tank in some emergency (with a normal fish net and strangle it) my only point in mentioning it is that saying a tank in the thousands is really pushing the size of ther tank needed when nobody thinks twice about putting a sohol that gets well over a foot in a 6 or 7 foot tank that the fish can dart across in one flip of the tale and does it all day while eels activity is minimal compared to a tang and for the record i dont think sohols should be in hobbyist tanks either

I would not suggest it - these bad boys are aggressive and dangerous. A LFS here gave one away after it had been in one of their tanks for ages. It got so big it had to lay across the bottom and up one side of the tank to fit. It would go after anyone walking by and they ended up having to transprt it in a large cooler with a weighted lid.
