Keeping more than one tang?

What kind of opinions are out there on more than one tang in a tank? Mine is 90gallons. What are the best combos... I've heard that changing around the rocks is good to 'reset' territories.... Just wondering what peoples experiences have been with varying combos.. I have a purple right now, looking at adding either a naso, regal, chevron.
Thanks in advance,

I was always told to add all tangs at the same time to have the best luck with them. I have done it twice and worked out fine. I have done the same with triggers also. The purple tang can be mean so I don't know how good of an idea that would be but maybe an expert can give you the nod or no nod.

I used to have a sailfin, and a hippo in one tank. I had the sailfin first, about 6 months before I added the hippo. The sailfin was about 6 inches in size when I bought him, and the hippo was about three inches. THey did fine, for about 6 months untill I decided to add a flame angel from *****. I didnt qt and I had an ick breakout. The hippo died while trying to treat. I recently got rid of the sailfin because of lack of swimming room. You should be ok for two in a 90, just make sure you buy a small one . good luck, I would recomend the sailfin/hippo combo to anyone with the room, ricky

i wouldnt put 2 tangs in a 90 gal. most tangs will reach a foot in length so you will run out of room pretty fast. i have a naso in my 90, but only because i am upgrading to a 240 in the near future.

Thanks for the input... I guess one will have to be enough for now.
I appreciate the comments!

I posted something on this in the fish discussion. Has anyone seen the TV show Surreal Life? They have a 50-75G tank with several yellow tangs in it. It will be interesting to see the tank when the show is almost done.

I have a hippo and a desjardini sailfin in my 55. They have been there for over 3 years, without getting too big. Maybe I don't feed them enough  but they are happy and ich free.
see them here

I was actually first looking at getting a powder blue tang, then getting a powder blue and a hippo tang and putting them together, and I now am thinking of a hippo and a black tang. Of course, my tank is only 75 gallons, so I think I will put a dwarf angel in there with a hippo tang instead. I like the bicolor and the chevron, and my bf likes the flame. Can anyone give me any info on them? A book I read said all dwarf angels are good with inverts, but all tangs are not. Thanx!
