is it safe to keep multiple dwarf angels? i have a lemonpeel and a midnight angel and they don't seem to fight, the lemonpeel will chase the midnight but won't nip at him. I wanted to get a flame angel... should I or no?

Your situation is more the exception than the rule. It's generally not advisable to house them together in all but very large systems. The fact that you see some chasing is a good indicator not to add another. I think you'd see some major problems. Lemonpeels are one of the nastier centropyges, and the grow larger than some of the others. I'd stop where you're at if it were me.

I agree with nicetry
I do have a flame and a coral b together in my 180 gl. and they do just like you discribed yours. Usaly its the flame chaseing the cb. But in a 75g. i would not try 3. maybe if theres tons of rock for them to hide in but mine seem like they are always looking for each other.

I had a Coral Beauty and a Flame together in a 180 (with lots of LR)...took about 3 months but eventually the Flame just seemed to wear out the CB and it went "belly up"...

Hi, i'm a newbie setting up a 55 gallon tank & I know for sure that I eventually want a coral beauty or a flame. I just can't decide which one, since some of you have had both can you tall me which one you liked the best? Thanks!

To jump in on this discussion. I tried to mix in an eiblii angel with my coral beauty in my 55 gallon. My coral beauty chases the eiblii around the tank, although it isn't as much when I first put him in. I actually had them in the same tank with succcess in the past. I think what worked for me though was that in the past, I added both fish at the same time. This way, they are established in the tank at the same time. This eliminated many problems that I am experiencing now. I will end up moving the eblii angel to another tank soon.
