keeping multiple gobies/blennies

While putting together my 75 gallon reef, I am thinking about fish. So many that you read about say that you should only keep one per tank. My question, is that one per species or just one. I like the looks of several of these fish and would like to keep one of each. Thoughts?

most fish are aggressive to their own kind in the small territories in a confined tank environment. the will fight for space and food unless they are a peaceful schooling species or a mated pair. i have a mandarin, convict, lawnmower, midas and diamond goby/bleenies peacefully sharing a 175g with lots of liverock to hide in.

When the recommended amount is one pre tank, it usually means one per species, but you can usually have a male and female of any one given fish without problems.
