I use it, and it works decent, just make sure you purchase a Calcium test kit with it! Any thing you dose you want to test for, so you do not over dose!!!!!

I use it.. BEFORE you start to drip kalkwasser, make sure you test your water for
PH< ALK< CAL. your water has to be stable and in good condition before you use it. There are many old threads with good descriptions and instructions. I suggest you read up real good before doing it. I don't have the time to write everything. hope this helps.

Although there can be different grades its all basically calcium hydroxide, I happen to use the EVS product.
