Does anyone own or have any exoeriences with Kenya? My LFS has a couple frags of this i believe.
My lighintg is power compacts (i forgot the watts) i keep my lights on 9 hours a day.
Ive been told these should do fine in my tank becasue there a soft coral.
I was wondering because the frags sort of look like Acropora frags or somehting like it, like it has a hard skeleton. Hard skeletons all need MH lighting rihgt??

I have a Kenya Tree frag in my 55 reef. I don't have very much light, only about 150w Fluorescent. It seems to be doing just fine though. Also, I see you live in Vegas, I do to. I got my frag from F.I.S.H. If I can keep mine under fluorescent lighting, you can keep yours under power compact.

F.I.S.H. is located on Bruce Street I believe, by a Del Taco. It's a small place, but they have a nice selection. Green Valley Aquariums closed...Your way far away from me if you go to Atlantis. Is Tropical Expressions good, where is it at?

have you seen the coral? are you sure its kenya? because kenya doesnt have a hard skeleton (they may have something, but its not like an acro, theyre very soft and flexible.) if it is kenya, its the most bulletproof coral on the planet and you can definately keep it. heck, you could probably keep kenya in an old gym sock.
