when you frag a kenya tree is it common for the fragged piece to 'deflate' and act kinda limp? i frag two quite small branches and they are still rigid but the much larger piece is all slumped over in the rubber bands. i imagine it is quite a shock to them and im wondering if the big guy will pull through?

That is common. But why are you fragging a kenya tree? When they really do frag themselves. Mine used to shoot off frags every day.

i just bought it and it was one big stalk. our tank is small and i wanted it on a particular rock in a particular way and i couldnt get it to attach with just rubber bands so i cut it into a few pieces and glued them how i wanted. we have a lot of flow and it was difficult to get the bands on tight enough to hold it but not too tight that it was being squished.
thans for the reassurance.

this may be a stupid question, but what did u use to frag the kenya tree? Did you cut it with a knife or scissors? I have to frag mine tomarrow and am trying to figure the best way to do it.
