Is it just me or are keynas a pain in the butt because they drop babies everywhere ones they get big? I've given away probably 20 babies in the past 4 weeks.

under perfect condition, certain corals will spread and reproduce like crazy. i am having a problem like that with my clove coral.

oh, never thought of this, i have a few babies that are attached to pieces of rock that i can't take out to chip them off. what corals can i place there that could snuff out the kenya tree, since they're taking up valuable real estate for my corals.

Just rip them off the rock like you would a weed in a garden. Seriously, I do it all the time. Put it on some rubble in low flow and it will attach pretty quickly. Then, don't give it away, take it to your LFS or local reef club and sell it!

My Kenya tree drops little ones all the time. I just rip them off the rock and throw them away. At least Kenya's are easy to get rid of, lol.

I usually end up with about $60 in credit at my LFS every 2 months just by mounting the baby kenya tree frags and trading them in. My LFS even gives me little pieces of rubble to mount them on since they know I'll be bringing them in for trade.

yeah, i tried to sell them on my local club for 5 bucks, then i started giving them for free because no one will pay of these things in my area everyone either already has them or doesn't want them. I guess i'll start going with the weeding method. I'm guessing no worries about any toxins from ripping them in the tank?

for both of you USPS Express would be somewhere around 30 bucks if i ship monday night should be there noonish tuesday (according to the website) UPS or FedEx would be well into the 40s for next day. So don't know how worth it it'd be.
