For future reference, if you are a member of AAA you can call them when you lock your keys in your car and they will send someone out to open up your car.
I know I became a meber for life when this happened to me in Germany. Locked the keys in a rental car and the rental car agency said they could mail us another set of keys and should be there in two or three days. I talked to the clerk at the hotel and he called their auto club, and since I was a member of AAA they sent someone out to open the car. The only thing it cost me was the tip to the clerk.
One time at an old job I got a call from the security guard. He said that Rose had locked her keys in the car and her kid was in there in his car seat in the car. He wondered if he called AAA would they charge us for the trip? Of course the obvious answer was, "Who cares, call them and open up that car!"
