I figured - s'why people keep saying it looks bigger than a 30g - they're all used to the high tank

I hate tall tanks.Cant do as much JMO.Wish I would have got a 40g breeder insted.

I'm with you there - personally I really like the 33 extralong or breeder - same footprint as a 55, but only 12" tall.

Me too - I'm working two systems over in my head right now; one for school, one for home. The school one (in my head at least) has a 30long DT, a 20long DT, and 30long Display fuge, two 20 long frag tanks, an additional 50 gallons of water capacity (plastic containers) and a sump and 10 gallon hex prefilter. the home one is a little simpler, two of the 33 x-tra longs, 50 gallons of additional storage, 10 gallon hex prefilter, sump and small (maybe 10 gallon fuge). Both systems would have all the tanks plumbed together.
Haven't figured it out completely yet - still just in my head, but I like the idea. Not sure my pocketbook can keep up.

Kinda like my tank.I have a 30g DT with 20g long sump and 10g frag all plumbed together.let me know if you need any help or pics.
