Oh, the "ole miracle in the bottle" debate continues. About every week someone posts this question. Only a few people have posted success with this but you need to think about it like this; How can a chemical target one invert and leave your snails and crabs good? It cannot. Hypo or copper is the "ONLY" way to treat Ich. And you cannot do that in the main tank. The infected fish Have to go into QT and it treated for 6-8 weeks.

I've tried both kick ich and chem marin's stop parasite. At first kick ich seemed to work only for the ich to return within a week. When the ich returned I tried Chem Marin and within a week the ich was gone. I have restocked my 72 gal with 4 new fish without a trace of ich. I did however have a sharp decline in my inverterbrate population. It has now been over 6 weeks and all are doing well.
