I don't think that teenage girls should be posting pics of themselves. I don't like the idea of an internet predator being able to see a pic, contact the young girls and solicit them for their disgusting motives. What exactly are you confused about?

So its not the pictures you disagree with it the fact that you don't think teenage girls can be smart enough to deffend against preditors ?
I guess teenagers are easilier manipulated than small children?

Which "small children" are online to be solicited by perverts???
To answer your vague questions... yes, I do not like the idea of young girls, who are already vulnerable to being contacted by strangers online, posting pics of themselves.
What are you trying to say in your posts? If you have an actual point then just spit it out... don't be scared.

BTW... what is "easilier"?

Its no different for you to post pictures of your kids than for alix to put a picture of her self . Your picking straws saying that teenage girls online are any more of a risk to preditors . All kids are at risk both male and female kids of all ages not just 13-18 females . Your girls are more likely to be victim to somebody you know and trust (friend, family members) than a teenage female on a fish forum .
I am only pointing out that you were all over that but then with in a few days you are posting pictures of your kids and it really comes across as hypocitical .

You're entitled to your opinion... as silly as it may be. I have always posted pics of my kids on this site, just as a lot of other people have (including you). My kids are not at risk to be contacted by some clown who saw their pic online. Believe me, when my girls are old enough to be online, they will not be posting pics of themselves. You don't see a difference?

I see the difference just fine . I also see you over imaginative brain going to work . Its called freedom . Every last one of us on here should be allowed to express ourselves by sharing photos of our self and our family . Including teenage females . What gives you the right to live a life of freedom and share your personal life ? But then to tell somebody else they don't because the oh so popular radio and tv shows have said they are likely to be a victim of a crime .
As a criminal lawyer I am sure you have to be familiar with the statistics right ? Your girls are more likely to be victimized by somebody you know and trust (friend, family member, coworkers ) than a teenager is by online preditors . So are you keeping them away from your friends and family ? Or do you proudly share pictures with people that you trust ?
Because honestly thats what alix was doing the other day simply sharing a picture with people she trusted . I guess she should just hide away and be ashamed of how she looks because it might get "too much attention "

What you're clearly missing is that sharing a pic of my daughters does not give ANYONE direct contact with them. A predator has direct contact with the young girl, who may entice him with a pic of herself.
You're entitled to your opinion... it seems to me that you're missing something here. Either way, it doesn't matter. Gotta go...

I actually see what crimsy means. When our kids are small, they don't use the Internet and they are not the ones exposing themselves and their personal information for everyone to see. Also these kids do change as they get older so recognizing them later on may be difficult.
Teenager is willingly exponsing him/herself online with pictures, open chat and personal information about themselves. They engage in online chats with strangers and give out a lot of information about themselves, especially when they notice that this stranger actually *cares* about their opinion or what not.

I don't think that she was trying to entice anybody with her picture . She said she really liked that picture . Just as I am sure you really like the pictures of your kids that you shared with us . Have any pictures up at the office crimzy?

let's see if I can revive it....
Don't think that this qualifies as "funny," but I'm trying to save the thread. I like seeing everyone's kids.

These 2 are old (he was 5 months) but you know he is going to want to kill me for this when he gets older!
