Killing my polyps...

So, I was looking in my tank and I seen what looks to be tiny white dots. These dots are attached to clear stalks, and when I touch them, they recede into a crack in the rock. Now normally I would not mind this, but they are actually killing some of my zoos I have. It literally looks like they are being digested. The stalks on this mystery creature are only about 1/8th of an inch long. Anyone know?

That doesn't look like cyano to me at all. I'm not able to say what it is... but it most likely is NOT cyano (or red slime). Keep this post at the top someone will be able to help you ID this. :)

I unfortunately cant get a pic anymore clear, the water offsets the lens. Ill try to get my friends big camera to get some better shots.
The red stuff is just some bright red coraline algae, I got all kinds of colors in there.
