Just bought my first fishies. I got a pair of False percs and a lawnmower blenny who has been hiding. I will just keep updating this thread as I get new stuff... it shall be my onofficial tank journal, feel free to give me advice.

I have recently encountered a small red-slime outbreak. I adjusted the lighting so it should disappear soon. All tank params look good (calcium needs to come up before I get any corals). Btw, the tank cycled for about a month or so.

your tank looks good! I like the look of the live rock!! To get rid of slime algae cut down on feedings and lighting schedule and get some more current in there also get some chemi clean and you should be A ok

Thanks! I got another powerhead to help with that slime. I am hoping that I wont have to use chemi-clean unless I have to, but I got some just in case. How long do you think until I can get some soft corals?
The LMB finally became comfortable too. He came out and perched on a rock.
